Response To Manufacturers

Dear Nabisco, I understand that you make the serving size so small so that people think they are getting more for their money, but I also think that the serving size is not at all reasonable. No one can just eat three Oreo's, especially when you are dipping them in milk. I think you should consider changing the serving size to something that is more reasonable to youth such as myself.

Dear Mars, no one is going to weigh out their M&M's before eating them. I think you should put how many M&M's are the serving size. If someone was actually conserned with calories and such for M&M's then this serving size is reasonable, one pack of M&M's is one serving, but now that you have the "sharing size" people usually get that pack which is more than one serving size. Your serving size is ridiculous because no one weighs out their M&M's before they are eaten.

Dear Frito-Lay, I like how you put the serving size as how many chips you should eat. This makes it so much easier than using grams and such, but honestly no one is going to count the amount of chips they put in their mouth. Also, sometimes when people are having a get together they don't count how much chips they are eating, because they are continuously snacking on chips and other products. I appreciate how delicious your products are, but come on now. Fix the serving size please!

Dear Arizona Beverages USA, I love your sweet tea. It's delicious and makes me very happy, but when you sell a 23 fl oz can, no one is going to only drink part of it. Which is why I believe that you should change your serving size to 23 fl oz. It just makes sense. Your tea is fantastic, so let's be reasonable now. Thank you.

Dear Coca-Cola, your company is amazing, but depending on if I get a fountain soda or a bottled soda accounts for the likely appropriate serving size. For my project I used a 2 liter bottle, and I could only drink a glass and a half, but if I had a 44 fl oz fountain soda then I would have drank that whole thing. Your serving size is dumb and unrealistic, you might want to reconsider.
