Final Root Beer Pancake Formula
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup plus 2 tbs cake flour
1/4 cup plus 1 tbs root beer
1/6 tsp root beer concentrate
1/4 cup butter

PROCEDURE

Heat flat griddle to 350-400 degrees

Sift cake flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl; set aside

Whisk together root beer and 5/6 tsp root beer consentrate in a bowl; set aside

Beat sugar and 1/4 cup of butter in a large bowl until fluffy. Add the egg, beating breifely. Alternately add flour mixture and root beer mixture. Mix briefly, then transfer batter to griddle. Make sure to grease griddle before transtering the batter.
